Break out the small rods and reels for young anglers to tests their skills. Grindstone Lake in Ruidoso will be teeming with activity the morning of June 15, 2019, as children line the shore to try out their casting arms.

Staff from the U.S. Forest Service, New Mexico Game and Fish Department and the Ruidoso Parks and Recreation Department will be on-hand to help and offer advice.

The day will be full of fun games, prizes, Snacks and Drinks, Fishing clinics, Fishing contest, Canoe rides, Face Painting and Smokey Bear will be present as well.
