Galacticon 2019
The 2019 Roswell Galacticon & SciFi Film Fest will be held at the Roswell Convention & Civic Center on July 5th – 7th. This is a new location near the downtown Roswell UFO Festival site.
The Galacticon features two concurrent events – the SciFi Film Fest and the SciFi Con, the Roswell Galacticon version of a “Comic Con”.
The Film side consists of juried short and full feature films in the SciFi and Fantasy genre. Adding to the Roswell experience, these films will be shown at the Roswell Planetarium located next door to the Convention Center. Viewing all films is included in the general admission price.
The Galacticon side features a Vendor Hall with a wide variety of goods for sale, workshops and panels, role playing games, celebrity guests, and much more. Additional activities include Cosplay Karaoke night, a Zombie Invasion Role Playing Game open to all, Costume and Cosplay Contests, and the annual Steampunk Ball.
The standard $5 per day admission fee (or $10 three day pass) will give access to all general activities. Admission passes and official merchandise are available online through the event website.
